COURT BEGINS AT 9:00 A.M. UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED ON THE NOTICE.
No one shall enter the courtroom while in possession of a purse, backpack, or any like item.
No one shall bring a cell phone, pager, or any other type of electronic communications device into the courtroom.
COURTROOM ATTIRE — No one shall be allowed to enter the courtroom who is wearing shorts, cap, hat, or lounge (pajama) pants. All pants worn in the courtroom shall be worn with the top of the pants at the waist and all shirts shall be tucked in the pants.
SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES
CIVIL CASES:
Parties will be let in and might be asked to wait in the hallway until their case is called, depending on the number of persons in the courtroom. Speak to your lawyer regarding this; if you do not have a lawyer, please speak with a bailiff. If you are not a party and wish to watch or hear a case, speak with the bailiff and you will be allowed in.
CRIMINAL/JUVENILE CASES:
Parties and witnesses must sign in upon arrival. You will be allowed in the courtroom at your docketed time. You will be advised when your case is called. You must remain or a bench warrant can be issued for your non appearance, signing in is not an appearance. Anyone wishing to come in for a case, can do so, however due to social distancing concerns you must speak with a bailiff. If you are not a party and wish to watch or hear a case, speak with the bailiff and you will be allowed in. ** Except in all Juvenile Cases - only parties and their parents/guardians will be allowed in the courtroom.
